The driver sees what you see
Half of this product lives in the phone of the person driving. They watch their week build up, check the figures before any receipt exists, and add what is theirs and never reaches you. It is free — the operator always pays.
Why this matters to you
An operator with ten drivers spends the week answering the same question ten times: how much am I getting? And at the end there is an argument about a number nobody watched being made.
The driver app exists so that conversation stops being necessary. They watch their own week build up, with the same parts you see — and when it is time to settle, they confirm or say what does not add up, before any receipt exists.
What they see
-
The week's balance, and where it comes from
One big number, and under it the three sources: what you owe them, what they were handed for Tours, and what they booked themselves. Only the first goes into the settlement.
-
Their own entries
Fuel, a car wash, a private job. These count towards their balance and their reports, and never enter the settlement with you — they are theirs, and you do not see them as a cost of yours.
-
Targets
They say how much they want to earn in a year; the app suggests the month and the week. Then it shows what is left and how much a day they need in the days remaining.
-
Their documents
ID card, driving licence, criminal record, TVDE licence and proof of address. They go with them if they change company — they are not yours, they are theirs.
How they join your fleet
-
They get an invitation
A link or a QR code, which you share however you like — usually over WhatsApp. You can also invite them straight from an import, if they turned up in the trips and were not on Myfleet yet.
-
They install and accept
Before seeing anything at all, they accept the terms and the privacy policy. Then they fill in their profile — name, tax number and address — and upload their documents.
-
They join your fleet
If they are already with another company, the app asks whether they want to move. It is their decision, and their documents go with them.
What the driver app does not do
- It never charges the driver. Not once. Myfleet is paid by the operator, with no exception and no plan where that changes.
- It does not issue the receipt for them. It tells them the right amounts and who to invoice; issuing happens on the tax portal.
- It does not show them the fleet. They see what is theirs. The other drivers, the company's figures and your margins are yours.
- It does not decide for them. If the figures do not add up they say so, and the settlement waits — no receipt is requested for an amount they have not accepted.
Questions people ask
Do I have to make my drivers install it?
The settlement needs their confirmation, so in practice yes — and that is the point. A weekly settlement the driver never saw is one that gets argued about later, with less information on both sides.
What if their phone is not up to it?
The app is light and does not need a recent phone. What it does is read numbers and show lists — there are no maps, no video, nothing heavy.
What happens when they leave my company?
The last settlement with you closes normally, and only then are they archived in your fleet. They take their history and their documents; what belongs to your operation stays with you.
Is the app only in Portuguese?
It is in Portuguese and English. In a TVDE fleet that is not a nicety: it is the difference between a driver understanding their week's figures and simply believing them.
